So many in the community have asked how they can help. Thanks to the generosity of The Kailee Mills Foundation, the immediate funeral needs have been met for the family.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Tessa Shive Memorial Scholarship Fund or to the Shive Family Assistance Fund established here.
The Tessa Shive Memorial Scholarship Fund will be used to give a variety of scholarships over the years to honor the age Tessa would be in that year. You can give here as a taxable donation or if you prefer to write a check you may drop it off at any Citizen’s State Bank or mail it to Citizen’s State Bank, PO Box 908, Navasota, Texas 77868. NOTE: Please be sure to make a notation on your check that your donation is for: TESSA SHIVE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP so the bank knows how to process the donation.
The Shive Family Assistance Fund will be used to help the family with medical bills, counseling for her siblings, two of whom were in the accident with her, counseling for her parents, and will be used to assist with other immediate financial needs of the family as they navigate the loss of their beautiful daughter and sister.
The family is so very thankful for the community outreach and support in this difficult time.
