If you have found us here, you have probably experienced the loss of a child or know someone who has. We are so very sorry for your loss. We are honored to be able to hold space for your shattered heart as you move forward on your healing journey. A journey we know we will travel forever this side of heaven.

Our prayer is that we will be able to support families as they navigate their own loss and that we will bring hope and healing to their journey. A journey that only someone who has lost a child can truly understand.

    Our Mission

Our Mission is to provide tangible, financial, and emotional support as we walk with families of child loss from the trauma of the initial loss through aftercare, regardless of the age of the child.

  • Our Calling

To provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They. will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

    Isaiah 61:3

    Our Why

In 2016, we lost our son Christopher. As expected, it turned our world upside down. After years of muddling through our grief and learning how to let great grief and great joy reside in the same space, we felt God calling us to establish First Touch Family.

At First Touch Family, we are dedicated to offering hope and healing to families navigating the profound loss of a child, no matter their age. We understand that grief is a lifelong journey, and our mission is to provide comfort, connection, and support to those walking this difficult path.

Through our Blessing Boxes, we offer personalized care packages filled with meaningful items to honor each child's memory and bring solace to grieving families. Our community events create opportunities for remembrance, healing, and togetherness, fostering a compassionate space where families can share their stories and find strength in one another. Additionally, we provide grief support resources to help families navigate their loss with understanding and love.

In addition, our Family Grant Program provides financial assistance for essential needs such as counseling, living expenses, and funeral costs. We recognize that the financial burdens of loss can add to a family’s grief, and we are committed to easing that stress so families can focus on healing.

With every initiative, our foundation seeks to uplift, encourage, and walk alongside those who have experienced the unimaginable—because no family should walk this journey alone.
