Blake Newman
Blake Newman met Jesus face-to-face on April 19, 2016.
Dear Blake,
Not a day goes by that you are not thought of. Your family and friends miss your larger-than-life presence—the way you lit up a room with your stories, your laugh, and that unmistakable twinkle in your eye. Life just isn’t the same without you here, but oh, how thankful they are for every memory, every moment, and every meal shared together.
Your family tell us you loved them fiercely, and they felt that love every single day. Whether you were gathered around the table, driving down back roads, or standing beside you in the middle of a project you just had to finish—your love for them was steady and strong. You were happiest in the middle of life’s simple joys: hunting, fishing, getting your hands dirty under the hood of a truck, and piling your plate high when a good home-cooked meal hit the table.
Your seat here may be empty, but we believe with all our hearts that you’ve got a place at the most beautiful table now—seated with Jesus, in the fullness of joy, surrounded by a peace and glory we can only imagine.
Blake, your legacy lives on in the way your family and friends love each other, the stories they tell, and the strength they find on the hard days. You taught them to live boldly, laugh loudly, and love deeply.
We can’t wait for our reunion in Heaven!
Until then…
You are loved, Blake Newman, and never forgotten.
Much love,
Your First Touch Family
“We love and miss Blake’s larger-than-life personality! He loved his family and enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on his trucks and always got excited about a home-cooked meal! We miss him at our table but know that he is seated at the table with Jesus now!
Love,
Sandy, Morgan and Gus”
