Brayden Schoonover
Brayden Schoonover met Jesus face to face on July 22, 2022.
Dear Brayden,
Even though you’re no longer here with us in the way we so desperately wish you were, your life and legacy live on—told with love, laughter, and tears by those who knew you best.
Your family tells us that you were one of the kindest teenage boys anyone could ever meet. Soft-spoken, thoughtful, and full of quiet strength. They say once someone got to know you, your goofiness came out in full force—along with a laugh so contagious, it could light up the darkest room.
They tell us how much you loved the outdoors—fishing, hunting, mudding, or just hanging out. How you felt most alive with the wind in your hair, dirt on your shoes, and your friends by your side. And when you weren’t outside, you were deep into video games, cracking dad jokes, and watching the silliest YouTube videos you could find—always making people laugh with your spot-on humor and impeccable timing.
Your family talks about your creativity—how you found your place behind the scenes in theatre, doing tech work with so much passion. They swear you could take apart anything and put it back together like it was nothing. You just had that spark. Even as a little kid, they say you built real, working things out of Legos—no instructions, just imagination and instinct.
They tell us that you were one of those rare souls who loved deeply and lived genuinely. Someone who was content just being himself. Someone who made life better for the people around him.
Brayden, the world misses you. But because of you, we remember how to laugh louder, love deeper, and take joy in the little things—like a good dad joke or a walk in the woods. Your story is still being told, and your memory is still making an impact.
We can't wait for our reunion in Heaven.
Until then...
Brayden Schoonover, you are loved and never forgotten.
Much love, Your First Touch Family
