Devon Horn
Devon Horn met Jesus face to face on July 20, 2022.
Dear Devon,
Your family tells us you were truly one of a kind—someone who made space for everyone and never hesitated to show up for others. There was something special about the way you loved so openly, so freely. You had a heart as wide as the sky, and it reached every person—and every creature—that crossed your path.
Animals brought you joy, and the more exotic, the better. You had a soft spot for llamas and alpacas, and a fascination with snakes, spiders, guinea pigs, and of course, dogs. Your love for them wasn’t just a hobby—it was part of who you were. Gentle. Curious. Brave.
You had just walked across the stage and into a new chapter. With your diploma in hand and dreams in your heart, you set out for Colorado—ready to grow, to explore, to chase whatever life had waiting for you. You were excited. You were hopeful. And you were so loved.
We may never fully understand why your journey here was cut short, but we are deeply thankful for every moment you were with us. Your laughter, your spirit, your compassion—they live on in every story, every memory, and in the quiet reminders you left behind.
Your life speaks a powerful truth: that we must care for one another, live with wonder, and never take a single moment for granted.
So now, with your story close to our hearts, we share one of the lessons your life reminds us of—always buckle up, and stay buckled. It’s a simple choice, but it carries so much weight. And if that message can save a life, then your voice still echoes with purpose.
We can’t wait for our reunion in heaven.
Until then…
You are loved, Devon Horn, and never forgotten.
Much love,
Your First Touch Family
