Gregory Chase Carter
Gregory Chase Carter met Jesus face to face on May 20, 2022.
Dear Gregory (Chase),
“There isn’t a moment that passes that we don’t think of you. To your friends, you were Greg. To us, you were Chase—our kind, caring, easygoing heart. You had this incredible way of connecting with everyone. There truly wasn’t a person you couldn’t get along with.
You were a writer at heart—your poetry and lyrics were windows into your soul. Thoughtful, expressive, and full of feeling. You had a style all your own, from your love of sneakers to your passion for Honda cars, always paying attention to the little details that made things yours.
But more than anything, you were a loving big brother. You teased, you laughed, you looked out for your little sister and little brother like only the best big brothers do. The time you spent with them was full of joy—and so many memories that will last forever.
You loved your city. You didn’t just live in your community—you belonged to it. You showed up, joined in, celebrated culture, and added your own light to every place you went.
Your sudden goodbye left us with a silence we weren’t ready for. We miss you every hour of every day. We still say good morning and good night to you because you’re never far from our hearts.
Until we’re reunited in Heaven, we hold on tight to the love you gave and the legacy you left.” Love, Mom and Dad (Cassandra and Riley)
We can’t wait for our reunion in Heaven.
Until then…
Gregory Chase Carter, you are loved and never forgotten!
Much love,
Your First Touch Family
