Ryan Hunter Smith met Jesus face to face on March 25, 2023
Dear Hunter,
Your family tells us that you had a deep love for the outdoors. Many of their favorite memories are of you walking along creek beds searching for rocks and arrowheads, exploring nature with curiosity and wonder. Hunting, fishing, and being outside were things that truly made you happy.
They say you were rarely without your special companion, Buddy. After rescuing him as a puppy from the side of the road, the two of you formed an inseparable bond and went everywhere together.
Your family remembers how much you loved golf, beginning when you were just four years old and continuing through your time with the Huntsville High School team. They also recall your fascination with science and astronomy and how much you enjoyed learning about the world around you.
Most of all, they say you loved working with your hands. You were a talented carpenter who took pride in building and fixing things, often using your skills to help others—especially the elderly who needed a hand.
Your family says your kind soul, your curiosity, and your willingness to help others are the things they will always remember. The love you shared and the good you did will continue to live on in their hearts.
We can’t wait for our reunion in heaven.
Until then…
Ryan Hunter Smith, you are loved and never forgotten.
Much love,
Your First Touch Family
