Dear Hunter,

Your family tells us how wise you were, even at just 24. You poured your heart into your work as a diesel mechanic and amazed those around you with the skills you taught yourself as a welder. But beyond your talents, it was your generosity that stood out—you would give the shirt off your back to anyone in need.

They remember the way you loved your family and friends with all that you had. They say your hugs were the best in the world, the kind that made everything feel lighter.

Your mom and dad, Tricia and Ricky, say it with such pride: “I am so proud of the man he became and that I will see him again!”

You are deeply missed, Hunter, but your love, kindness, and strength remain forever in the hearts of those who love you.

We can’t wait for our reunion in Heaven.
