Dear Bob,

Your family tells us that even as a young boy, people often said you had “an old man’s soul.” Your teachers saw it too, describing you as a peacemaker—someone who naturally brought calm and understanding to those around you.

They remember how thoughtful and serious you could be, always caring deeply about the people in your life. When you became a father yourself, that love only grew stronger. Your mom remembers how you called her every single day, a simple act that meant so much.

Through your children and the three wonderful grandchildren you gave your family, your life and love continue on. You are remembered with pride, gratitude, and a love that will never fade.

We can't wait for our reunion in Heaven.
