Stephen “Squirrel” Harris

Stephen Harris' earthly experience ended 7/8/2022 when he entered Heaven's Gates in the arms of Jesus.

“To know Stephen was to love Stephen. He never met a stranger and loved most everybody especially his family, Stephen adored his nieces and nephews, and he looked up to his big brothers & sisters so much as the baby of the family.

Stephen had a smile that would light up any room that he walked into & eyes as blue as the bluest sky with the longest eyelashes you could imagine on a boy.

Stephen grew up playing Baseball and Basketball when he was younger Baseball was his love but as he got older Basketball became his stress reliever to him there was nothing like a friendly game of ball with his friends after work.

Stephen earned the nickname of Squirrel when he was only two, one of his bonus aunts gave him that name and he took it with him to his forever home in the sky. We live our lives in the dash - that is between our birth date and our heaven date, Stephen lived his dash to the fullest.

When Stephen was in high school at church one Sunday a man gave him a note with Jeremiah 29:11 on it and from that moment on - it was his reminder of Gods love.”
