Dear Sydney,

Your family tells us that you were a girl who wanted to try everything — from volleyball and basketball to showing pigs, snow skiing, and more. Though you may not have excelled at all of them, you found your true passion in horses. By the age of 8, you were riding and joining your family in the rodeo world, growing into an accomplished and respected barrel racer over the years.

They tell us you were the perfect blend of classy and sassy, lighting every room with your infectious smile. To know you was to love you; you never met a stranger. You would strike up genuine conversations with everyone and had the biggest heart — always loving your people fully, willing to go the distance for them. Your family shares how you made everyone feel seen and loved, especially those lucky enough to be part of your “Black & White & Always Right!” Club.

Though your 22 years were far too short, your love, spirit, and joy left a lasting mark on the hearts of all who knew you.

We can’t wait for our reunion in Heaven.
