Henry Bastian’s earthly experience ended August 2, 2022 when he entered Heaven's Gates in the arms of Jesus.

Dear Henry,

Who would you be today?

Would you be running through the house in bare feet and giggles, asking “why” a hundred times a day? Would you love dinosaurs or fire trucks, music or mud pies? Would you be gentle or wild, curious or cautious? We wonder all the time. And the truth is—we would have loved every version of you.

You were our first. The one who made us parents. Born at just 33 weeks, you came into this world quietly but with such presence. Though we never got to know you outside of my body, your life left a mark that time can’t erase. You are our sweetest little soul—always missed, always remembered, always loved.

There is a space in our hearts that belongs only to you. You are part of our story, Henry. A sacred part. And we will never stop wondering who you would be today—while holding tightly to who you will always be to us.
