Maurice P. Stanley “Tro”
Maurice P. Stanley IV met Jesus face to face on February 20, 2021.
Dear Maurice,
Your family tells us that you were lovingly called “Tro,” short for cuatro, because although you were the fourth, you were the first child born to both of your parents and their very first grandchild. From the beginning, you were full of life—adventurous, fearless, and always ready for the next moment.
They say you had so much love for your family and your siblings, but especially for your momma, whom you sweetly called “Motherbird.” That bond meant the world to both of you.
Growing up, you loved sports and played soccer, baseball, and basketball. Your family says that passion came from your dad, and you also enjoyed cheering on your sister at her soccer games. Whether on the field or with friends, you brought energy and excitement wherever you went.
One thing your family remembers well was how determined you were to teach yourself how to ride a motorcycle. Even though it made your mom worry, you would always promise her you’d be safe and then laugh it off with that playful spirit everyone loved.
They say you had a gift for making people laugh and for encouraging others to do their best. Your spirit, your courage, and the love you had for your family will always be remembered.
We can’t wait for our reunion in Heaven.
Until then…
Maurice Stanley, you are loved and never forgotten.
Much love,
First Touch Family
