Dear Tyler,

Though we didn’t get the chance to meet you in person, your family has painted a beautiful picture of who you are—and through their stories, we feel like we’ve come to know a truly remarkable soul.

They tell us that you were brilliant and creative, wise beyond your years, and endlessly curious about the world. You had a spark in your eyes, the kind that only belongs to kids who imagine boldly, dream wildly, and love deeply.

You loved Pokémon and Legos and had a fascination with blades—a mix of playfulness and bravery that made you uniquely you. And oh, the bond you had with your dad—sharing uncooked pasta noodles and teaming up for adventures, especially around your two favorite holidays. Halloween brought out your playful side, always nudging Dad to dress up with you, while Christmas made you feel like a little man, proudly helping string lights and decorate the tree.

You and your mom shared something special too—a love for books and music. Quiet moments curled up with a story or a favorite song were your shared treasures, the kind that echo in the heart long after the sound has faded.

And let’s not forget your favorite things to eat—cheesy tacos, dino nuggets, and crispy, sizzling bacon. You could eat them every day and never get tired of them. Just like your family never got tired of you. Every moment with you was a gift.

Tyler, your joy was bright, your heart was big, and your presence brought warmth and laughter. You are still loved just as fiercely, still remembered in everyday moments—when the music plays, the lights twinkle, or the scent of bacon fills the kitchen.

You are forever part of your family’s heartbeat, woven into all the things they cherish most. And though you now rest in perfect peace, your light still shines here in all the places your love touched.

We can't wait for our reunion in Heaven.
